Charles creative skills supported the CDC National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases’ (NCIRD) national digital media outreach campaign to raise awareness and provide educational resources about influenza management and prevention. The campaign included the design and development of a mobile memory game, which received a Hermes Gold Award. He has served as the communications manager for NCIRD’s National Influenza Vaccination Disparities Partnership in which time he developed digital content, videos and collateral materials. He served as the project director for a five-year social marketing effort with the DC Department of Health to help lower DC’s infant mortality rate through a public education and awareness campaign. The project included qualitative research, message development, media relations, and video and digital content development. His work at Oglvy and Qorvis put him at the forefront of digital communications. He enjoys trying new restaurants, listening to his vast vinyl collection, and traveling around the world.
