Charles D. Jackson

Charles has taken the lead in engaging African American grassroots leaders and flu vaccination champions as part of the National Influenza Vaccination Disparities Partnership. Under his leadership he helped support flu vaccine promotion events, messaging, and training. He has worked with the National Organization of Black County Officials, the National Urban League, and the Family League of Baltimore to mitigate economic and health inequities.

As an Outreach Coordinator for the Regional Maryland African American Tobacco Control Network, Charles Jackson was able to connect Historically Black Colleges and Universities to a network of non-smoking advocates to create smoke-free environments for students, faculty and surrounding communities. In 2013, Mr. Jackson received his certification of Community Health Leadership from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
