Adam earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism, with a concentration in public relations, from the University of Oregon. Adam provided communications and marketing support for HMA campaigns. Prior to joining HMA, Adam applied his skills in health communications while interning for the director of communications at San Francisco General Hospital where he worked on media and special events.
Previously, he also worked for the public relations firm of Charles Zukow Associates on media and special events, and served as a volunteer at the City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation Services, a center that specializes in special-needs populations for Eugene, Ore. While at the center, Adam researched, wrote, and implemented a strategic public relations campaign with volunteers for a city-funded organization that provides educational and recreational services to people with mental and physical disabilities. He also developed an online survey via SurveyMonkey to increase effectiveness of external communications.
In his free time, Adam enjoys exploring Washington, D.C., trying new food, and playing volleyball.
